Story Screen is my favorite new business in Beacon, over the past 10 years I've watched Mike Burdge turn his horror-movie screenings from his apartment in Beacon into indoor and outdoor public screenings of his favorite movies, into his thriving theater, showing new and old movies curated by Mike. The theater has hosted Serious Comedy Theatre, who I perform with every other week, since July 2019, and I've loved being a part of this special place, It's shown me how valuable having a venue for performers and storytellers is for a community. Everyone loves Story Screen, I wanted a shirt that shows that theaters are more than fancy interiors and blockbuster movies, at their roots, theaters are about stories and human emotion, and a stupid pandemic can't take that away from us!
