Body piercing has always been a cornerstone of Graceland Tattoo. We pride ourselves on providing people in the Hudson Valley a safe, comfortable body piercing experience. It’s done the right way, by an expert. That’s why we’ve decided to create our first ever Graceland body piercing T-shirt. Better late than never! Consider this a unique way of saying thanks to our incomparable body piercers Allison and Victoria. To let them know how important they are to our community, and to offer up something fun for all of our loyal piercing enthusiasts. 

The design: I chose to work with Dan Weise because I’ve always been a fan of his work. I find his lines to be intriguing.  His distinct way of capturing everyday things or creating imaginary ones has a touch of magic to it.  Dan is able to draw out simple shapes in black ink, on white paper and make them interesting, and I love that. I wanted something simple, and human and was looking for something celebrating our differences. Still, it had to connect all of us in some tribal sort of way.  I think we nailed it. Dan worked with our piercers to gather work from their own portfolios. This became inspiration to quite literally draw from.  We’ve made a very personal work of art for this shirt. So you may notice the bridge of your own nose, the shape of your lips, or your friend’s pierced eyebrow.

There are two versions of this T Shirt:

The Naughty Shirt: This version includes the front art and the Naughty inside print that is only visible if you flip it up to show someone or if you’re standing on your head.

The Nice Shirt: This version only includes the front art just in case your mom still does your laundry.
