I first came across Jo's work when we were shop neighbor. I saw her art on instagram and was instantly hooked. She hand embroidered her sketches on a jacket and I was floored. I always asked her if she'd ever sell any her work, she was very hesitant. We moved into a new location with lots of wall space. Again I asked, " Jo, You sure? We can do an opening and sell them in my shop!". She agreed! We hung her stunning work all over. Now Beacon locals and visitors can access her work and support her talent. Her art is incredible. No doubt in my mind when it came to an artist for this project that it would be Jo. - Lauren

I’ve always loved her custom work, her carefully curated jewelry and the interior of her shop. Seriously, Lauren has a great eye for design and it translates in everything she does. I’ve always been hesitant to put out my art however, to my surprise she became a huge supporter.

Once in her new space she finally convinced me to showcase my work and I have been so grateful for that opportunity. Of course when she reached out with this project in mind I couldn’t say no! I think we both have a very similar aesthetic, which made this project a lot easier to work on. I really wanted to make something that would clearly translate how beautiful and unique her pieces are.-Jo
