The dummy light here in Beacon is not only an iconic image of our little town but it is also situated between my apartment and The Chocolate Studio so it has a special significance for me when it comes to visiting my favorite local shop. My girlfriend Alyssa and I have spent many summer days strolling past the dummy light with our ice cream wandering toward the waterfall, as I imagine many people do after visiting The Chocolate Studio, and to me the two go hand in hand. The Chocolate Studio has some of the tastiest vegan ice cream I've found and in their decorated cones it is my absolute favorite treat on a hot summer day. I spend half my time silently attempting to savor the scoops of pure joy and the other half annoying Alyssa by repeating over and over how much I am enjoying my ice cream.
